Does Ordoo put a strain on my venue’s operations?

Everything that comes through the Ordoo platform is pre-ordered and pre-paid. Therefore you become significantly more efficient and can process up to 12% more orders in busy periods. Also, our smart digital ticketing system can be placed in the preparation area to alleviate pressure on the tills.

How do I manage a physical and digital queue?

A digital order is simply a person queuing virtually. Just slot them into your preparation flow to ensure their order will be ready at the desired time. Through Ordoo, you can notify the customer that the order is ready, so they will quickly grab the order from the clearly labelled collection point. The bonus is you don’t have a queue in the venue and people won’t walk past anymore.

What if a customer turns up late and isn’t happy?

We can count on our fingers the amount of times this has happened. Customers who have pre-paid seem to be on the ball! Nonetheless, you my need to remake and prioritise a spoilt order to keep a customer happy. If this happens, then mark it as ‘not collected’ and we will pay twice for this order.

Is digital ordering really going to be the future?

It’s already pretty big in the present. Big companies like Starbucks, McDonalds and Wetherspoons are already investing £m’s in digital transformations based on early successes. We’re just trying to democratise this technology and give small-medium businesses world-class capabilities!

Why should I work with Ordoo and not build my own app?

We get it; everyone likes their brand in the hands of customers. However, we’ve found that customers don’t want a load of apps that do the same thing. It’s been hard enough for us to learn how to market an app, having just about cracked it. Ok, so how does Ordoo help my venue market the app to our customers?

Ordoo provides its partners with various channels for transitioning their regular customers onto the app to benefit from intensified loyalty, higher frequency of visits and for their regulars inviting their friends. POS materials – when you join Ordoo you receive co-branded tent cards, posters and business cards. Social media – share unique codes and download links across Ordoo’s 15k+ followers. Referral scheme – each referred user gets £3 off their first order and the referee also gets £3 after said order (watch the sparks fly). Social WIFI – work with our partners to promote digital ordering when customers sign up to your WIFI.

Can I have a digital loyalty scheme on Ordoo?

Yes. Ordoo’s digital loyalty scheme is based on the “surprise and delight” concept of loyalty rewards, similar to the way Pret-a-Manger give away coffee to random people. Ordoo’s system uses automated triggers based on customers’ behavior on the app. We send reward notifications when customers order multiple times with a message thanking them for their loyalty.

Are there are some hidden costs?

Nope. We like to keep it simple and straightforward. There is a monthly or annual subscription fee and 0% commission. If you require some assistance setting up your account, a launch pack or hardware then we can sort this out for you as well.
